Beasts
Solid collections of magic. They don't have a clear pattern in form, but they are informally sorted into groups based off their forms:
Object-like, Animal-like, and Man-like. These groups inform the behavior and magic type of the beast.
A beastie may be sorted into more than one group at a time.
Beast magic is influenced heavily by their identity, giving them a much more varied assortment of magic.
Men
Sapient physical animals notable for their intelligence, and therefore for their propensity for magic. Sorted into traits:
Bravery, Justice, Kindness, Patience, Integrity, and Perseverance. Dominant traits are generally easily observable because of basic training being universally implemented,
but saturations of each trait must be measured with tools.
Trait saturation and, less commonly, dominant traits, are subject to change through life as values and priorities change.
Them being primarily physical means they need training to express any amount of magic. Many months may be spent training without visible results.
Their expressed magic is much lower than their stored magic, though their expressed magic alone can easily compete with what beasts can put out once they are trained. The offset is stored in determination,
and the amount generated is based on how close the saturation of each trait is to one another.
